Ho'oponopono

Posted on Aug 9th, 2007 by Cristin : Conscious Creator Cristin

Forgiveness and releasing negative energy is an important part of healing and creating the lives we desire.  There are several tools and techiques for this, and the Hawaiian tradition of Ho'oponopono is one of them.  Below you will find a simple version of this technique as outlined by Dr. Hew Len and Dr. Joe Vitale.

"Here are two ho'oponopono proven ways to heal yourself (or anyone else) of anything you notice. Remember that what you see in another is also in you, so all healing is self-healing. No one else has to do these processes

but you. The entire world is literally in your hands.

First, this is the prayer Morrnah (the creator of this new process) said to help heal hundreds if not thousands

of people. It's simple but powerful:

"Divine creator, father, mother, son as one ...

If I, my family, relatives and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives and ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask your forgiveness ...

Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies and vibrations and transmute these unwanted energies to pure light ... And it is done."

Second, the way Dr. Hew Len likes to heal is to first say "I'm sorry" and "Please forgive me." You say this to acknowledge that something - without you knowing what it is - has gotten into your body/mind system. You have no idea how it got there. You don't need to know, either.

If you are overweight, you simply caught the program that is making you that way. By saying "I'm sorry,"

you are telling the Divine that you want forgiveness inside yourself for whatever brought it to you.

You're not asking the Divine to forgive you; you're asking the Divine to help you forgive yourself.

From there, you say "I love you" and "Thank you."

The "I love you" transmutes the energy from stuck to flowing. It reconnects you to the Divine. Since the zero state is one of pure love, and has zero limits, you are beginning to get to that state by expressing love. When you follow that statement with "Thank you," you are expressing gratitude.

You are showing your faith that the issue will be resolved for the highest good of all concerned.

What happens next is up to the Divine. You may be inspired to take action of some sort. Whatever it is, do it. If you aren't sure about the action to take, use this same healing method on your confusion. When you are clear, you'll know what to do.

The above is a simplified version of the modernized ho'oponopono key methods of healing. To better understand the Self I-Dentity Ho'oponopono process, sign up for a workshop. See www.hooponopono.org To understand what Dr. Hew Len and Dr. Vitale are doing together, see www.zerolimits.info

Giving and Receiving

Posted on Jul 27th, 2007 by Cristin : Conscious Creator Cristin

A Course in Miracles teaches there is no difference between giving and receiving.  Recognizing and living this is profound.  To genuinely give love, you also receive it.  You cannot give something without experiencing something.  In the same way, if you attack or judge someone, you also experience the negative emotions you are attempting to put on someone else.  You cannot be angry at someone without yourself experiencing the anger, just like you cannot give love to someone without also experiencing the love yourself.

It's each of our choices what we want to experience and what we want to give.

It is my hope that more and more of us will continue to give and grow our love for each other, and for ourselves.

Inspiration and Giving

Posted on Sep 11th, 2006 by Cristin : Conscious Creator Cristin
Thank you Kate for the inspiration you gave me today to post on my blog. :)

Inspiration is a funny thing...you never quite know when you going to give or receive it, it just seems to happen.

I've thought many times about what I have to share on this blog and what I have to write about. I seem to keep holding off for something profound to share and what I was reminded of today is that you really never know what may be profound. We may touch each other in ways we don't even realize just by being who we really are. So maybe this blog is really just about be willing to peel away my layers and be authentic.

I have followed many paths and continue to take bits and pieces of information from many teachers but what I know is that it is time for me to truly find my path. Of course that has been the goal all along but it is one thing to say it and another thing to know and live it. The only path that can truly be "mine" is the one that I feel and experience at a vibrational level. I can know and understand things all day long but until they internalized they are really just concepts not yet integrated.

One of these lessons I am integrating was the reminder of the importance to serve. I have been taught so much about how to create the things I want in my life and there has been so much emphasis in my world regarding how to use the Law of Attraction to create and attract the things I want in my life that it seems like so often times it misses the point. Sure we want to create and manifest. But for what purpose? This is the question that has been haunting me ever since soon after I learned about these powerful tools.

So I can create the house and car of my dreams…so what? How much energy am I having to expend to do that and isn’t there a more meaningful way to channel that energy? So we have the power to create…that is wonderful and beautiful and truly a gift….where does the responsibility of create consciously come in? We have a great responsibility with this and there seems to be little emphasis on that. The focus I see is on what we can gain for ourselves first…others second and I am truly beginning to experience that it is more powerful and meaningful the other way around. I resisted this idea at first by saying…the only way I can help others is if I first help myself. I’m not saying we neglect ourselves…far from it. I’m saying we feed ourselves by feeding others. Neither am I suggesting that we give all of ourselves away and I hope that too is obvious because we all should know by now that is not an option. We must first take our power back…I am not denying that. What I am referring to here is what to do with that power.

A beautiful experience I have had lately that demonstrates the power of giving is through the tithing I recently began. A few months ago I was inspired to begin “tithing” (possibly a subject for another post? :)). This was at a time when 10% was not easy to give up…but what I knew is that it never would be if I looked at it that way. So I chose to be excited about it. I’ve had so much fun looking for new opportunities to give and writing out those checks and putting them in the mail! And as a testament…I made more money last month than I had in a year and a half. That wasn’t my focus though…in fact it came as a complete surprise.

So yes it is true, “the more you give the more you get”. But it is so much more fun (and in my experience, effective) to focus on the giving and the serving than to focus on what your going to get. The example I gave is tithing but I also experienced it today in prayer. As I “prayed” for others I felt a connection to Light much stronger than when I “pray” for myself.

So there it is…my second blog. :)

With Love and Gratitude,
Cristin

My "work"

Posted on Jul 22nd, 2006 by Cristin : Conscious Creator Cristin

I have had a lot of inquiries lately regarding my "work" so I thought that subject would be a good one to begin my blog with.

There are many facets to what I do.  On the most surface level my focus is on representing (conscious) media for their advertising.  Specifically, Mystic Pop Magazine (www.mysticpopmagazine.com); My background is mainstream media and while I still work with a variety of clients for strategic and media planning, my focus in the last year has been to work with what I call conscious media and advertisers.  These are clients and media outlets that are focused on Cultural Creatives or LOHAS markets.  If you are not familiar with either of these I highly recommend reading the book "Cultural Creatives" because it speaks to a relatively new market of people like us here on Zaadz.  I will not go into that market specifically right now but essentially these are the types of "conscious" media and businesses I refer to.

I am passionate about spreading truth and higher consciousness which is why I represent and work with the media I do.  These outlets are illuminating truth and expanding consciousness and the businesses I work with for advertising do the same in one way or another.

I am also passionate about authenticity (a major value of Cultural Creatives) which is one of the reasons I say I support an inside-out entrepreneurial approach.  I believe it is essential for "conscious" businesses to be authentic in their business and advertising.  I am now working on coaching people to do this better and consciously create their lives.  It is easily said, but takes intention and attention to manifest consistently.

My career is continually evolving but that is a quick overview of where I am at now.

More to come...

Love and Light, Cristin
